I read your response to a concerned consumer about your sponsorship of GLSEN.   The question here isnt whether you embrace diversity….its whether you think its ok to give “fisting” demonstrations to 14 year olds, pass out dental dams to children  and whether books about 5 year olds sneaking off in the woods to have sexual relations together is approrpriate.  It’s all nice and innocous when it sounds like your company is just supporting a cause, but when you add the ugly details about it, its not as pretty.   This isnt a broadbrush answer.  This isnt about bigotry.  This is about what is being taught to our children that differs from our values.  Not every person in the US who is supportive of different lifestyles wants their kids to read and be subjected to this kind of fillth.   And thats what this is….filth.  And in this case its corporate sponsored filth.  Read this article and tell me how your company is ok with this if you will, and keep in mind, this is being taught to children…. http://www.massresistance.org/docs/issues/fistgate/index.html   At the end of the day, what does this all mean to you….the bottom line.  I am a consumer who always bought your products over other products because you’re an American based company, and out of the multiple cameras and printers i have, most have met my expectations or better.  Mrs Deborah A. Shuryn response to a fellow consumers concerns struck me very wrong….its not about whether you support a lifestyle….its about this groups radical programs.    If America knew what they were teaching they would be outraged…….for your Senior Customer Relations Specialist to add the condensending remark that the idea you might respect different lifestyles might be offernsive to a customer was not to the point, and quite honestly a offending to me.  Her response to others concerns were “I am very proud to work for a company that embraces diversity and respect for individuals. We truly regret that these values offend you.”  Its not the values that offend anyone, some of this would be graphic even for a pornographic convention.   As I shop for a better digital camera for my wife for Christmas (I hope that doesnt offend you) I have a name that I  will be ruling out, regardless of the great prices I have found.  The wireless printer I want for myself is also now coming from a different source.  You might laugh this off and think nothing of it, but i can assure you I will be posting this on the St Louis Post Dispatch’s website and calling all of my friends and immediate family and asking them to do the same.   Formerly your dedicated customer Ben Mansfield

Carol Browner….Secrecy Czar of the EPA….and top exhibit of Obama’s hypocricy

what do you know about Carol Browner…..The former Epa Administrator under President Clinton….

While at the EPA in January 2001, Browner and the EPA were ordered by a Judge to retain records pursuant to a discovery filed by the Landmark Legal Foundation. The LLF was concerned that the EPA would be violating the freedom of information act by destroying emails and data relating to what Mark Levin, counsel for the LLF, contended was to be an unprecedented set of executive decisions by the lame duck president Bill Clinton.

Yes she destroyed records a judge ordered her not too….but Obama appoints Mrs Browner ( an admitted socialist, that not even debated) to the top EPA spot…..even though she had a history of not being open and transparent, Obama’s Shining Campaign Promise…..and seemingly biggest lie.

Former EPA Administrator Carol Browner ordered the destruction of her computer records on the last full day of the Clinton Administration. The admission was made in a hearing today before Federal District Judge Royce Lamberth in a lawsuit brought by the Landmark Legal Foundation. On September 29, 2000, Landmark sued the EPA to force the disclosure of the identities of special interest groups that may have worked with the Agency in producing environmental regulations in the final days of the former administration.

Rep. James Sensenbrenner, R-WI, is demanding a congressional investigation of Browner’s conduct in the CAFE talks, saying in a letter to Rep. Henry Waxman, D-CA, that Browner “intended to leave little or no documentation of the deliberations that lead to stringent new CAFE standards.”

Amy and I were just talking about the crap state of “comedies”, and how we wondered where the hell John Hughes went…..how old is he…why did he just leave us?

how kevin smith and his low brow comedy ruined things for a time, and how Judd Appatow cant write a complete comedy….funny parts, likeable actors, movies that just seem to lack something

and how if any one could revive Hollywood and remind us that sometimes Hollywood used to make us feel awesome and warm inside

look at John Hughes movies and tell me somewhere in that long long list of 80s and 90s gold there isnt a character just like you, and that one of these movies didnt just make you feel better about the world

thats what we need now…..

At another point of today’s town hall meeting, Obama was pushing back against the idea that the creation of a new government-run plan would drive private insurers out of business, and he said that UPS and FedEx were doing fine, but “it’s the post office that’s always having problems.”

whats stupid about this comment????? could it be the biggest arguement against government controlled health care is that the government cant run anything efficiently….the post office is bleeding money and on the verge of cancelling Saturday delivery and closing hundreds to a possible 1000 offices, causing people to drive miles upon miles to just mail a package in some cases……uhhhh…….not hitting a homerun with this one sir….

also he has stated two times over that doctors would often order Unnecesary surgery just to make money, and instead of you coming in with a sore throat or seeking preventitive diabetic treatment, they would take out your tonsils or amputate a body part……
hey genius……your family doctor isnt the one who performs the expensive surgery…..he actually loses money by referring you to the surgeon because youre not coming back nearly as much

Obama to raise 10-year deficit to $9 trillion

The Obama administration will raise its 10-year budget deficit projection to approximately $9 trillion from $7.108 trillion in a report next week, a senior administration official told Reuters on Friday.

Figures released by the White House budget office foresee a cumulative $9 trillion deficit from 2010-2019, $2 trillion more than the administration estimated in May. Moreover, the figures show the public debt doubling by 2019 and reaching three-quarters the size of the entire national economy.
Obama economic adviser Christina Romer predicted unemployment could reach 10 percent this year and begin a slow decline next year. Still, she said, the average unemployment will be 9.3 in 2009 and 9.8 percent in 2010.

Obama’s policies are killing our economy…..the stimulus was a huge payback for years of democrat support….it didnt create jobs……people working as accountants arent out there building bridges today…..it was union payback and we all fell for it

also the last two unemployment reports were way up……and the reports are lower than the real number because it doesnt count those who were self employed and those who ran out of unemployment

A new USA Today/Gallup poll puts President Obama’s approval rating at 55 percent, which ranks him 10th among 12 post-World War II presidents at the same point in the survey. His approval is down from 61 percent in late May.

As he seeks to regain momentum on the health care front, the survey finds that only 44 percent approve of his handling of the issue, with 50 percent disapproving. Also, 59 percent say his proposal would lead to too much government spending, and 52 percent say it would “call for too much expansion of government power.”

During his briefing, Robert Gibbs referred the 59 percent approval rating in the Washington Post/ABC poll as a “pretty darn good number for six months in.”
