As usual, you are wrong. again. As a Black person I quite a few other people of color did deal with churches. Black churches in particular had posted Yes on 8 signs outside of their churches. We did tell them that we would advise the state regarding their involvement in campagning and tax exempt status. Some lawn signs were removed voluntarily. Because this issue was not given the publicity the morman church ivolvement was, does not mean it did not happen. You might also want to look at the breakdown of WHO voted yes on 8. Because people voted does not mean they voted on all initiatives, that was a long ballot in the state.

In desperate times, people do desperate things. Obama bought this presidency and brainwashed the gullible. When America falls, he will fall with us. Obama made promises he cannot keep so therefore, I predict a backlash will transpire most likely from the black population. In good conscience, how could a Christian ever vote for such an un-Christian man? It is not only Obama I fear but the very corrupt government that has presented and protected him.
As for big brother, all eyes watching and listening. Our battle has just begun.

It was a sad day for the Pro Life Movement. Neither Senator running cared about the Constitution and personal freedom, but of course I would have rather had the lighter version of slavery. Bush was BAD, BAD, BAD...but I really do fear an Obama presidency. Hopefully these words I type here do not come back to haunt me by Big Brother, lol.

The media has always been unfair, but it this election, it has been grossly unfair. They spent more time researching Joe the Plumber and the Republican VP candidate than they did this man that they have instead hero worshipped in every way they can. Its safe to say that this election has drawn more attention than any other I can remember. Perhaps thats because of Barack... perhaps thats why the media won't dare discredit him, even if its rightfully so... imagine the ratings drop if no one cared anymore. Barack winning will be a media frenzy, they know this, and whether they want to claim a non-bias standpoint or not, Obama winning will be good for their business... bad for the rest of the economy, but good for them.
It is sad that the women in this election were given a hard time. I'm a die-hard right winger, but Hillary wouldn't have bothered me to bad. I understand the need to find a middle ground in politics and that means give and take. Hillary for 4-8 years would have been some thing I'd give. Barack is a world of pain, just waiting to descend on this country like a vulture. The most disturbing thing to me in this election is that it became a celebrity contest, and America is eating it up with a fork and spoon. It didn't matter what Barack said, he could have agreed with everything McCain or even Bush had ever uttered. He truly got that famous-for-nothing celebrity status like Paris Hilton and this nation fell for it, hook, line and sinker, no question. People are voting for this man, this menace to society, based soley on the fact that its the cool thing to do. It nauseates me that this country, even the 'grown ups' can be so high schoolish.
I saw a guy in a really nice BMW in a parking lot the other day with a B. Hussein Obama plastered in the middle of his back window. I told him that I thought his car was really nice. After the thanked me for the compliment, I informed him that his car was 'some wealth I can wait for Barack to spread around' because it was way nicer than my old escort.
A look of fear, panic and utter confusion crossed his face. I expect, if the election goes his way, they same look will cross his face in January.

Your essay speaks volumes. One thing you have not covered is real racisms. I know many whites. A few older ones (65+) still hold some racist views, but the real racism in America now comes from the black community. Whites are rightfully prosecuted for hate crimes but when a black on white crime accurse even when there are racist remarks made by the black there is no mention of a hate crime. It’s like they’re allowed to hate with out any repercussions. Real racism and racist will be dead when everyone is treated equally. I don’t like Obama, but it has nothing to do with his race. It has to do with his Socialistic ideas he wants to spread. An Obama presidency would be a tragedy. I believe we will see the same economic problems we had with Carter. I believe the great Dr. King is rolling over in his grave. For everyone who reads this, look in your heart and ask yourself do I judge everyone by what you see or by what they do. I judge a person by what’s in their heart not by the color of their skin or anything else that makes them different from me.
